Andy Kane OBE PhD FCA(r) CPA(r)

My focus is working alongside clients who must address their family and business challenges.

I take a two-pronged approach, combining my hard-side experience (e.g., financial, business, management, and treasury skills ) with my soft-side competencies in coaching, advising, mentoring, mediating, and directorships.

Dysfunctional relationships can impact family dynamics or a business, creating painful emotions, grief, and many unspoken words, in addition to disrupting an industry and impairing the health of those involved.

Built upon 50 years of guiding clients, I provide a calm, experienced voice as I address issues like protecting one’s well-being, wealth, or legacy that swirl around core issues.

Often, I observe that my clients are asking themselves questions: how can I be defined by who I am, not what I do, or how can I enforce barriers to avoid the emotional pain from dysfunctional family members?

These core introspective questions often include poor relationship issues around siblings, parents/adult children, partners, or executives.

Three Bridges: Adulthood is Easy Until Life Intervenes

Andy has authored several books. However, this one is specifically about navigating adulthood, enhancing your well-being, and addressing your life, especially midlife, which was the focus of his doctoral dissertation. This book guides you through the unpredictable, inevitable setbacks of life faced by all of us, both individually, within a family, or in a business, and the subject matter is illustrated with the help of his three metaphorical bridges spanning the course of a human lifetime.

After facing several career challenges in midlife, I wish “Three Bridges” had been written earlier as it would have provided me invaluable guidance and input to meet those challenges with more confidence.
